Habitat East Bay ReStore is a discount building materials reuse outlet where shoppers can find everything from standard windows and doors to unusual tiles and rare vintage finds -- all under one roof. The ReStore accepts donations of new and saleable, used building materials such as cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, doors, flooring, and windows. Some materials are used to build Habitat for Humanity houses. The rest is sold to the public at 50-75% off the retail price with proceeds going back to Habitat towards building homes in partnership with local low-income families.

Collect all types of hazardous wastes including batteries, CF lights and electronics. This site is located at the Central Disposal Site. Residents may bring up to 15 gallons of liquid (5 gal per container) or 125 pounds of solid materials per day. Please be sure to never mix chemicals and use sealed containers to pack in the trunk to prevent spills. All businesses should call about applicable fees and must make an appointment. This site will also offer toxic rover pickup services to residents only by appointment only.
