Casa Verde Designs is owned by 25-year Davis resident Nancy Morrow. Nancy arrived in Davis as student, and since then (apart from a brief stint in East Lansing, Michigan), she has worked and lived in Davis with her husband and daughter. After a long teaching career in the University Writing Program at U.C. Davis, Nancy returned to school herself, earning a degree in Interior Design from American River College in Sacramento. As she became more interested in sustainable and universal design, she joined the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Build It Green (BIG) and continued her education through memberships in the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), the San Francisco Furniture Mart, and the San Francisco Design Center.
