Massey Modern Design/Build is a sister company that works with Modern Development & Reclamation Inc. to produce a fully sustainable home. Massey Modern Design/Build is a company designed for forward thinking. We are a new, young company and are doing our best to improve the environment. Our motto is ‘High profile design for low impact living.’Our goal is not only to offer an ultra-modern home, but also to educate the community about how green building can help them to lead a more healthy life. VOCs, or volatile organic compounds, are widely used in today’s suburban/urban homes and are contributing to a variety of diseases from cancer to degenerative birth defects. Our goal is to provide the public with a home that is nearly, or fully, VOC free. Our homes will implement systems to sustain that condition over the test of time. The materials that Massey Modern Design/Build uses will come from their sister company as well as the green industry’s leaders in innovative technologies to help promote a more energy efficient, non-fossil fuel/petroleum dependent home. Massey Modern Design/Build is a member of the SBIC (Sustainable Building Industry Council). Massey Modern Design/Build utilizes LEED guidelines developed by the USGBC in all construction processes possible.
