posted by: Bill W..  springfield, il  2008-09-28 This organization takes in all sorts of electronic equipment. What is quite discerning is the disposal of CRT screens. According to a staff member of this company. "Monitors are given to a guy who turns them into cheap TV's". This cannot be a suitable form of reuse and recycling and due to the refresh rate of this type of CRTs, makes it cost prohibitive to transform them into television grade screens. Makes one wonder where these LEAD laden CRTs are actually going.
