Unique American Teak Flooring
Unique American Teak is a direct importer of FSC Certified teak and exotic hardwood flooring from well managed forests certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council. Teak is the most dimensionally stable wood in the world making it ideal for flooring. In addition, harder than Cherry or Walnut, it scores over 1,000 on the Janka hardness scale; a fact that makes it very desirable for flooring. It has always been seen as something special—recognized for its’ beauty, rich grain, and stability, it is used worldwide for ship-building, fine furniture, and decorative trim. Thanks to advances in forest management and flooring manufacturing technology, FSC certified Teak is available for the first time in four different colors, quality pre-finished SOLID or ENGINEERED, and comparable to the price of Oak.
