Carlisle offers a broad variety of wood floors including old growth heart pines, premier hardwoods, hand-sculpted woods and FSC Certified 100% Post-Consumer Reclaimed Antique woods. At Carlisle, we’ve always believed that “Green” means the responsible and accountable use – and reuse – of all our natural resources. When we craft our antique flooring, we are not only giving this treasured resource the second life it deserves. We are also helping reduce the stress on our forests, and we are proud that our efforts to care for the environment have been nationally recognized by the Forest Stewardship Council. Put simply, we believe that the living surface we create inside your home should reflect and respect the living surface nature created outside your home.

Carlisle hand makes its floors in two New Hampshire facilities. Selling to homeowners, architects, designers, and builders. For over 40 years, Carlisle has hand selected and milled traditional wide plank flooring to create a unique environment and lifestyle for its customers. Carlisle operates wide plank flooring design centers throughout the United States in Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Washington, D.C, and West Hollywood, CA. In addition to installations in residences, Carlisle’s wide plank floors are also featured in upscale commercial settings including the Mercer Hotel (NYC), The St Regis (CO) and very recently The Park Hyatt (DC).

posted by: Kristin E.. narberth, pa 2008-03-25 We just had our hickory floors installed and they are beautiful. We used the Tung Oil recommended by Carlisle - we'll see how it holds up or how often we have to redo it..
