posted by: Jason P.. 2008-02-07 Alissa: As with many products, there's a tradeoff here: you save the water and energy needed to wash cloth products, but you use a bit in manufacturing and take up landfill space. In this case, these products use chlorine-free materials and are designed to minimize packaging. They offer one of the better low-impact (but not no impact) solutions for parents who can't carry around cloth wipes.
posted by: alissa f.. 2008-02-06 how is it that disposable wipes are 'low-impact'??? Use cloth wipes that you can throw in the washing machine, instead of throwing these disposables in the landfill.
