This is unlike any powerstrip you've used before. In addition to providing eight surge protected outlets, six of those outlets are controlled by a motion sensor. For instance, plug your computer into one of the two "always-live"outlets, and your monitor, desk lamp, desktop calculator, a fan, space heater, or other such electronic items that don't need to be on when no one is working at the desk into the motion-sensing outlet.
