Insuladd - Insulating Additive for Paints
Insuladd® is a paint additive that you mix in with ordinary house paint to insulate and reflect heat from your home during warm months and to keep heat in during the cold months. Insuladd® will save you money on your heating and cooling bills by turning home paint surfaces into home insulation. It turns ordinary home paint into thermal paint on walls and ceilings because it becomes a reflecting radiant barrier. Insulation values are known as the "R-Value" and Insuladd's advantage over R-Value is that when mixed into home paint the insulating additive reflects heat resulting in less work for your insulation. The higher the R-Value, the greater the resistance to heat flow. By adding Insuladd® insulating paint to two coats of regular home paint, the walls of your home will have a 50 percent increase in the effective R-Value in your home.
