posted by: anonymous. smithfield, ut 2009-08-24 I paid a lot of money for this product, hoping it would be worth it. However, the slats are bent and are very uneven. The sun warps it to the point where it bows out and leaves less than desireable huge gaps between the slats. The rep and main company never return my calls and seem to think the bending is acceptable. People always ask me why my fence looks so warped the first summer I've had it in. Do not buy this product, you will be very dissapointed with the appearance and the customer service.

posted by: Myles M.. arvada, co 2009-05-21 I recently purchased and installed Heartland BioComposites Prairie Deck product in my backyard and I absolutely love how it looks and feels. The colors are very warm and it does not feel 'plasticy' under foot and the installation was very much like traditional wood. In fact, I installed the new deck boards and rail system on top of my existing wood framing which made it very convenient. I saw the product at the Denver Home and Gardens show and met with the owner and really think the product and people involved are top notch. We hope we will be enjoying our new deck with family and friends for years to come. After using the product, we are considering replacing our old cedar fence with the Heartland fence. Kudos to Heartland!!!
