posted by: Jo-Lynn M.. 2008-05-16 I agree - this composter is great. I also bought a second one when my spouse went to "all-grain" brewing. I get a great supply of compost for my roses and tons of worms for the fishing, too. Very important to put the bins firmly on the vermin tray that comes with it - it really keeps out the mice. The sectionalized design allows one to comfortably transfer each layer successively turning over the whole pile. Or you can just ignore it, except for the occasional watering.
posted by: Josh A.. providence, ri 2007-04-04 This composter is great - we bought two of them so one could "cook" while we filled the other one with kitchen scraps. They go together quickly, and the price is right to be able to buy two of them. I've tried some of the other "gimmicky" composters (rolling, worms, etc.), but there's nothing like just letting a pile sit undisturbed to make compost.
