Yes, Compact Fluorescents come in 3-way versions! This FEIT 3-way bulb is economical to purchase, and economic to use. When used in a 3-way socket, it will deliver three distinct levels of light. At its lowest setting the bulb will consume just 13 watts of electricity, producing an amount of light that is roughly equivalent to a 30 watt incandescent light bulb (700 lumens). At the middle setting the draw will be 20 watts of power, with the light produced equivalent to a 70 watt incandescent light bulb (1,150 lumens). On the highest setting 25 watts of electricity will be used, offering a light level similar to a 100 watt incandescent light bulb (1,600 lumens). $9.50

posted by: Lane W.. portland, me 2008-01-29 these bulbs work beautifully, shedding much improved light; BUT if your lamp has a harp (metal piece supporting the shade) the chances are good that the bulb will be too big to fit inside the harp - ie it won't work measure height and width INSIDE harp before buying bulb.
