The Low Down On Green Living

Get Thee to a Buffalo Exchange!
One of my favorite shops– Buffalo Exchange– is opening in New York City! Little do Big Apple-dwellers know, but their fashion lives are about to revolutionized. The new store is at 332 E. 11th Street in the East Village and it opens tomorrow– November 22. Get your walkin’ shoes on and head on over!
Buffalo Exchange is one of the leading used/vintage clothing chains in the US. I am a faithful visitor to the BE on La Brea here in Los Angeles– and I want Americans all over to hear the call of the buffalo stampede. One of the most eco-friendly things any of us can do is to reduce and reuse– and wearing pre-loved clothing is a great way to get in the planet’s good graces. Buffalo Exchange ain’t no Goodwill, people– this is the recycling of great fashion. The first Buffalo Exchange opened in 1974 in Tucson, Arizona. It was the very first store that bought, sold, traded, and took clothing items and accessories on consignment. The company that now has 34 stores and 2 franchises in 13 states. And like I said they are about to conquer New York!
